Abriel Cortez
Personal Trainer
Abriel Cortez is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Chicago. A lifelong athlete and endurance runner, he has completed multiple marathons, half marathons, and road races while building a strong foundation in functional movement and performance training.
With over 6 years of experience in physical therapy clinics and 3 years of personal training experience, Abriel specializes in bridging the gap between rehab and athletic performance. His training centers around the idea that movement is medicine, helping clients move better, feel stronger, and build sustainable habits through consistency and goal focused training.
Passionate, energetic, and client-focused, Abriel practices what he preaches and is committed to helping individuals achieve long-term results through smart, functional training.
What a Training Session May Include
Training sessions follow a logical flow while remaining flexible and individualized. Depending on the goal and the individual, sessions may include preparation work, strength or conditioning training, and recovery-focused work.
The goal is to apply the right tools at the right time to support consistent progress.
Individual and Group Training Options
- Individual Training One-on-one coaching tailored to personal goals, movement needs, and experience level.
- Group Training Small-group sessions with individuals of similar goals or experience levels, offering a supportive and motivating training environment.
Session Options
- Individual Sessions Single sessions are available for flexibility or trial purposes
- Session Packs Multi-session packs are ideal for consistency, progression, and accountability

- Monday and Wednesday 9am -11 am
- Friday 6am- 7am and 2:30pm – 4:30pm
