All of our physical therapists are trained in the Reavy Method, a whole body approach to physical therapy developed by owner David Reavy, which incorporates manual therapy, muscle activation, and functional exercises to help patients of all ages to return to and exceed their previous levels of activity.


Franco Calabrese , PT, DPT - Clinic Manager Lakeshore East

Franco Calabrese received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Franco is also certified in dry needling. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Franco spent four years in Finance as a futures trader. An avid sports fan and athlete from a young age, Franco has first-hand knowledge of how maintaining an active lifestyle can impact the body. He understands how a well-rounded, disciplined, and hands-on approach can help in achieving a balanced and strong foundation in all areas from every day activities to competitive sports. 

 


Meagan Corriveau, PT, DPT - Lakeshore East

Meagan Corriveau received her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in Exercise Science and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois- Chicago. Meagan enjoys being a manual physical therapist because it gives her an opportunity to be hands on and thorough while assessing and treating her patients. Prior to joining the React team, Meagan spent two years treating a variety of orthopedic injuries, but specializing in working with performing artists. This opportunity, as well as Meagan's love for yoga, have taught her that whole body strength and stability are the foundations to a healthy and active life.


Johanna Dibuz, PT, DPT-Northbrook

Jo Dibuz received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois-Chicago. She enjoys running, previously competing in track and field and cross country, and now participating in events such as 10Ks, half-marathons, the Chicago Marathon, Tough Mudder, and other races for recreation. Jo is also an ACSM-certified personal trainer and uses these skills in her physical therapy practice to optimize patients’ movement after addressing impairments and imbalances through thorough manual therapy. Jo is dedicated to making lasting changes to the body which will not only rehabilitate injuries but prevent future injury in order to maximize each patient’s potential, whether this means being in top shape for athletic performance or simply living pain-free.


Kaitlin Iversen, PT, DPT - Wilmette

Kaitlin Iversen received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas and completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Kaitlin was a member of the 2007 NJCAA National Women’s Championship basketball team. Her approach as a Physical Therapist has been shaped by her experience as a college athlete and a strong commitment both professionally and personally to health and wellness. Prior to joining the React team Kaitlin spent 3 years treating a variety of orthopedic injuries of all age groups. Joining the React team allows her the opportunity to collaborate within a diverse group of professionals who continuously strive to maintain an adaptive and creative approach within the clinical setting. Kaitlin enjoys developing individualized treatment plans for all populations and getting them back to their active lifestyle. 


Robert Hodges, PT, DPT - West Loop

Robert Hodges received his bachelor’s degree in biology and minored in chemistry at Lake Forest College. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Robert values a hands-on approach and emphasizing patient participation. He believes that a patient should be well educated with as much information about their injury and the rehabilitation process in order to get the most out of physical therapy. Robert spent his first year out of physical therapy school under the guidance of his first mentor, in which he was able to skillfully hone his manual therapeutic touch. One of Rob's main focuses is the treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction. He is also certified in dry needling. Being no stranger to injury himself after his collegiate football and rugby career, Robert fully understands your desire to get back in the game of life, and he is ready to get your body stronger than it has ever been.


Dustin Jesberger, PT, DPT - Lakeshore East

Dustin Jesberger received his bachelor's in musical theatre from Baldwin-Wallace University and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Prior to joining the React team, Dustin worked in an outpatient clinic specializing in neurological rehabilitation and developed an interest in treating common overuse injuries associated with using adaptive mobility devices. Dustin has taken coursework in Mulligan Concept, McKenzie Method, and Vestibular Rehab. He is also a member of the Vestibular Disorders Association. As a weekend warrior, Dustin understands the frustrations of common injuries keeping you from the activities you enjoy. Dustin enjoys working with individuals of all ages and ability levels and believes in using a hands-on, holistic, and mindful treatment approach with each individual.


John Kim, PT, DPT - Northbrook

John Kim received his bachelor's degree in kinesiology and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois-Chicago. John enjoys working with the orthopedic and sports population across all age ranges and prefers a whole body, hands-on manual approach using innovative techniques. John is certified in dry needling, has taken coursework in the Mulligan Concept, and has taken coursework in Bloodflow Restriction Rehab. John's background in gymnastics and his practice of weightlifting, and circuit and interval training have helped give him insight into the goals and challenges of his patients. John was introduced to React Physical Therapy while completing his final clinical rotation at UIC. He decided to join the React team to accomplish his goal of helping all his patients meet their full physical performance level through education and individual attention.‚Äč

Melissa Luety, PT, DPT, SCS, Director of Education - West Loop

Melissa Luety received a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder in Journalism and Fine Arts and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Missy has taken coursework in Mulligan Concept, is certified in dry needling, and is SFMA certified. She also developed and oversees our BE Running program. Prior to earning her DPT, Melissa spent eight years as a graphic designer and art director before changing career paths to follow her true passion. A lifelong athlete, Melissa is an avid runner who finds balance through her yoga practice. She values the hands-on treatment she can provide as a manual physical therapist and enjoys helping everyone from weekend warriors to competitive athletes perform their best.

Luke Mathison, PT, DPT - West Loop

Luke Mathison received his bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Classical Studies from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois – Chicago. Luke is certified in dry needling. Prior to earning his DPT, Luke spent 12 years in Aspen, Colorado, fueling his love of the outdoors and downhill skiing. As a lifelong athlete, playing hockey and college soccer, he understands the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, and the pitfalls often associated with recovery. As a manual therapist, Luke enjoys working with athletes of all ages and abilities by reducing their risk of injury and to help them achieve their peak performance goals. Luke is a Level IV certified coach with USA Hockey.


Kevin Martin, PT, DPT - Lakeshore East and West Loop

Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Iowa and went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northwestern University in 2013. Prior to becoming a member of the React team, Kevin spent over 3 years working with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions and specialized in vestibular rehabilitation. Kevin has taken coursework in the Mulligan Concept, the McKenzie Method, and is AYSTM certified. Kevin has also worked part time at an inpatient rehabilitation center since 2013 treating a variety of neurological disorders. He enjoys working with a wide array of orthopedic conditions using a manual focused approach while emphasizing the importance of balance and stability training. Kevin stresses patient education from day one so that his patients may gain a deeper understanding of how their body works and ultimately develop the self management techniques necessary for avoiding re-injury.

Summer Sanders, PT, DPT, Director of Physical Therapy - West Loop

Summer Sanders received her bachelor's degree in General Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a focus in biological sciences, health sciences, and psychology. She completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013 at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Summer has taken coursework in the Mulligan Concept and from the Postural Restoration Institute. She is certified in dry needling, SFMA, and FCE. She developed and oversees our BE Golf program. She is Titleist Performance Institute Medical Level 1 and 2-certified and K-Vest Level 1 certified. Summer's interest in physical therapy stems from years of playing field hockey, soccer, basketball, golf, and competitive piano. Her compassionate approach during treatment in based on previous work and observation in skilled nursing facilities, long-term acute care facilities, and orthopedic clinics. Summer was introduced to React Physical Therapy while completing her final clinical rotation at UIC.

Joshua Collins, Body Engineering Trainer and Physical Therapy Aide

Joshua Collins graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and wellness. While attending Iowa Wesleyan, he was a member of the collegiate soccer team and even participated in some semi-professional competition. Joshua's soccer career ended abruptly after suffering a torn hip flexor. This injury inspired him to focus on helping others recover from injury and attain their fitness goals and improve their level of functional performance. Josh doesn’t believe in the traditional boundaries of fitness and in constantly challenging his clients to push through plateaus and believe in their own power. Joshua leads our RMx group execise and Body Engineering one on one sessions.
